What is a noun?

 Nouns are very important words in a language. We can use nouns to name people, places, things, and ideas. Nouns are like the building blocks of sentences. They help us give names to objects, describe things, and talk about actions.

 We can see different categories of nouns based on their meaning, function and form. When we write anything, nouns are everywhere in them. Without nouns, we cannot write, say or describe.

01, A noun can describe “a person”.
           
           Examples:

           My mother is a kind person.
    02, girl
           She is a nice girl.
    03, Albert
           Albert Einstein is a well-known person. 
    04, Romeo
           My brother is Romeo.

02, A noun can describe “a place”.

           Examples: 
    01, school
           They are going to school.
    02, Disneyland
           We had a lot of fun in Disneyland.
    03, bedroom
           I am cleaning my bedroom.
    04, Earth
           We live on Earth.

03, A noun can describe “a thing”.

           Examples: 
    01, book
          Can you give me your book, please?
    02, house
           She has a nice house.
    03, tree
           Can you look at that giant tree?
    04, rock
           Let’s go and sit on that big rock.

04, A noun can describe “an idea”.

           Examples: 
    01, freedom
          Every child loves freedom.
    02, love
           Every child needs the mother’s love.
    03, kindness
           She is very loving because of her kindness.
    04, justice
           All deserve justice.
